Snow Day Fun!

Winter is here! The cold, snow and ice came in hard this week. And as much as I love getting outside with the kids, it's a little to cold these days. So I have complied some activities to burn some energy and keep those kids from going crazy (aka keeping mom from losing her mind),

Freezing bugs or small objects -- Great for toddlers

All you need for this is a muffin tin, small objects and water.

Take the object place in the each muffin tin and then pour water over it. Freeze over night. The next day let your little one try to get the object out. Toddlers can slide them across highchair trays while older kids can use some spoons crack the ice. Make sure to pick objects that are not choking hazards.

Homemade Marble Run -- Great for Toddlers and older

All you need is paper towel or toilet paper rolls, tape and cotton balls or puff balls

On a window or sliding glass door (Glass is easier to get tape off :) ) tape tubes in line or different directions for balls to run down. Have your littles drop a cotton ball or puff ball down the tubes. My daughter had fun dropping down for a while! You can even color the tubes before you hang them up for extra fun!

Our Village Activities - Great for all Ages

Long ago but not so long ago we were all stuck at home for weeks on end. We at FIT4MOM GR came together with different activities for you and your kids to do around the house. There is a whole library of our recordings of crafts, science experiments and even some story times for you to get a moment of peace. Check them out!

We hope you enjoy these activities and look for more playgroups and events coming up in February with FIT4MOM GR!
