Hi my name is Sarah and I am the owner of FIT4MOM GR! I became an I structure for F4M GR 11 years. I would take the kids I Nannied to class with me.I fell in love with the community and support the moms provided for each other and even me as a nanny.

I took a several year break when we moved for my husband's law school. When I moved back and started teaching again; I knew when I had my own kids I wanted this community and village. So when the opportunity to be owner came I jumped. Of course this was March 2020 but we adapted as moms do and I welcomed my first child November 2021. Then my second in September 2024.

We have grown as a village and I have grown as a mom and business owner. This village is my lifeline, from venting about motherhood to sharing clothes and diapers in a pinch. We have laughed, cried, and all the feelings in between together. I can’t imagine my motherhood without FIT4MOM GR.

This is my mission with FIT4MOM GR. For every mom in Grand Rapids to know she is not alone in motherhood with community and support!

My current favorite (as it’s hard to pick one) is Body Ignite. This strength class leaves me feeling empowered and strong! Plus the in person Monday nights has become a favorite of mine to connect with moms. But all our classes hold a special place in my heart, from the smiles and giggles of stroller strides kids, to the moms to be connecting at FIT4BABY, to seeing moms push themselves at strides 360 and then Run Club+ and moms connecting about with older kids at Body Boost and Body Ignite! All our classes have something special that makes them amazing!

My favorite village memory is our annual holiday party! This favorite of mine as we come together and connect over fun games and share a local present with each other. It is one of my favorite events we do. The cookie and book exchange for the kids is a very close second!!

If you ask my kids what they enjoy the most is snacks and playtime. But to watch them make friends and look forward to class and playgroup fun! My daughter asks everyday what class we are going to and who might be there!
