In our pursuit of engaging with and supporting our local community, we are creating a monthly spotlight on our blog and social media called "FIT4MOM for Equity". We will be highlighting area businesses, organizations, and programs who are working to bring equity to everyone living in the Grand Rapids area.

Dwelling Place

For the past forty-one years, Dwelling Place of Grand Rapids has been committed to the mission that quality affordable housing is essential for "respite, restoration, and personal growth." In those years, they have served almost two thousand individuals in four West Michigan counties. Recognizing the deeper issues that can sometimes hinder an individual's ability to find affordable housing, Dwelling Place also provides support services and neighborhood revitalization involvement, including affordable commercial property options.

Dwelling Place has a plethora of volunteer and donation opportunities available for individuals or groups. The staff and residents created this fantastic video about Dwelling Place to learn more about the heart of what they're doing. We definitely would recommend taking a few minutes to watch it!
