Welcome back to Meet Our Village Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving and perhaps even started prepping for Christmas over the weekend. My family and house are in full Christmas-mode--definitely spent the entire weekend decorating our house inside and out and then did our first of many drives around our neighborhood to check out Christmas lights. We LOVE this time of year!
One of the things I am forever thankful for is FIT4MOM Grand Rapids and I sincerely hope you are enjoying these opportunities to learn more about the mamas in our group.
Today we are featuring the wonderful Andrea Livingston!
How long have you been with FIT4MOM?
I've been with Fit4mom since May 2017.
In what way(s) have you participated in FIT4MOM (Fit4Baby, Stroller Strides, Stroller Barre, BodyBack)?
I started out going to Stroller Strides/Stroller Barre and have started doing Fit4Baby.
Tell us about your family.
My husband, Josh and I are both from the greater Grand Rapids area. Josh is a real estate agent at JH Reality in Ada and I am a stay at home mom. Our son Everett (18 mo) is such a sweet and funny little boy! He is always making us laugh with his silly faces and goofy sounds. We will soon be a family of 5 (yes, twins!) this Jan/Feb, and are looking forward to the new challenge.
What is one thing you love about Stroller Strides/Stroller Barre/Fit4Baby/BodyBack?
I love the fact that you can get a great workout in that also allows you to spend quality time with your kids.
It's been a couple years, but I really enjoy Yoga.
I love Chinese food and Pizza!
What are some things you like to do outside of exercising and being a mom?
I love sitting down with a good book, popcorn and a glass of wine.
What do you do for work or what did you do before baby?
I was a Medical Assistant at Metro Health's Family Practice/Sports Medicine office in Cascade. I worked with a couple of the PA's in the office taking vitals, drawing blood, and giving the oh so fun shots to sweet little babies!
Have you played any sports in the past or what sport would you like to learn?
I played golf in high school, but haven't really played since.
What is a piece of advice you can pass on to fellow moms?
When things get tough or overwhelming, remind yourself to take it a day at a time. Enjoy your baby; this time goes by so fast!
Thank you so much for being part of our village, Andrea! We appreciate you so much!
