This week we spotlight a veteran of Body Back and a member of Our Village - Sarah Moratti!

How long have you been a part of FIT4MOM?

I have been with FIT4MOM since April 2015.

In what ways have you participated in FIT4MOM?

I have participated in two sessions of Body Back!

Tell us about your family.

I am a mom to a sweet boy, Louie, who turns two this year, and am married to my wonderful and supportive husband, Louis. I am also expecting a baby girl who is due this summer!

What is one thing you love about Body Back?

One thing I love about Body Back is the feeling I get after I finish my workouts. It’s so euphoric! And I feel powerful, like I can accomplish anything.

Favorite exercise?

My favorite exercise is surprisingly squat jumps.

Favorite food?

My favorite food often changes, but lately I’ve been loving ripe, juicy nectarines.

What are some things you like to do outside of exercising and being a mom?

I love going to the beach, spending time with our families, and playing advanced board games. We love throwing an annual lawn game tournament in the summer, and in the winter I bust out my quilting hobby.

What do you do for work?

I am a middle school reading teacher.

If you could travel anywhere in the world where would you go?

I would love to travel Southern Europe with my husband – Italy, Southern France, and Spain for sure.

What is a piece of advice you can pass on to fellow moms?

Find the positive in life at all times. Life can be difficult and stressful but you can always find things to be thankful for – the beautiful day, the smiles on your kids’ faces, a moment of relaxation after they’re in bed. Don’t sweat the small stuff - it will be okay!
