And it's Monday again! Don't lie. You look forward to Mondays now because of this feature on our blog. :-) Today we are featuring the awesome Melissa Trierweiler! Enjoy!
How long have you been with FIT4MOM?
I joined in January 2015.
In what way(s) have you participated in FIT4MOM (Fit4Baby, Stroller Strides, BodyBack)?
I do Stroller Strides and did one session of BodyBack boost and plan on joining BodyBack when I return after having my baby!
Tell us about your family.
I have been with my husband Max for 12 years this October. He works so hard owning The Mitten Brewing Company that I am able to stay home with my little man, Owen, who will be 3 in September. We will also be welcoming a baby girl to our family at the end of August!
What is one thing you love about Stroller Strides/Fit4Baby/BodyBack?
I love Our Village and all the friends both myself and Owen have made over the past year and are still making. I also love that my son gets to see me working out and trying to take care of myself for the better.
I love anything with berries on it, also anything Italian! And of course pizza from The Mitten!
What are some things you like to do outside of exercising and being a mom?
We like going to baseball games and since we own a brewery, we like to explore other breweries and beers. Going to the family cottage is one of our favorite ways to escape the everyday routine as well!
What do you do for work or what did you do before baby?
I sell 31 and Usborne Books. I also do HR and Payroll for the Mitten, but all of this still allows me to stay home.
Have you played any sports in the past or what sport would you like to learn?
I played softball all throughout school. I still like to play that but also like playing golf, yard games, go bowling and pretty much anything that can get my competition on!
What is a piece of advice you can pass on to fellow moms?
That it's ok to make mistakes and to not compare yourself to other moms. We are all in this together, going through different things at the same time or even the same things at different times, but in the end we all love our children all the same.
We are so thankful that you are part of our village, Melissa!!
